Hearth Wellbeing Hub

About Hearth

Hearth Wellbeing Hub gives parents of anxious and neurodivergent children calm, practical tools they can use today: what to say in a meltdown, how to make school mornings easier, how to settle worries at bedtime, and how to look after yourself along the way.

Why Hearth exists

Too many families are left waiting months, sometimes years, for assessments and support, passed from one waiting list to the next. Meanwhile, the meltdowns, the school refusal and the sleepless nights don't wait. Hearth was created to fill that gap: gentle, evidence-informed self-help that parents can use at home, at any hour, while they wait for or alongside professional support.

Who is behind Hearth

Hearth was founded by a mum and children's wellbeing practitioner trained in the UK and in France. She has years of experience supporting children and families with anxiety, OCD, school avoidance, neurodivergence and family relationships, using approaches such as cognitive behavioural approaches (CBT), exposure-based work, co-regulation, Zones of Regulation and trauma-informed practice. Everything on Hearth is written to be practical, kind and grounded in research.

How we create our content

Our guides draw on published research and recognised approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed skills and parent-led programmes. We cite our sources, review our content regularly, and write in plain language for busy parents.

What Hearth is, and isn't

Hearth is wellbeing self-help. It does not diagnose and is not a medical or emergency service. If you are worried about your child's safety, please see our Safety & support page.
