Support with clear boundaries

Small tools for everyday family life, with room to ask for more help.

What these tools can offer

Guides, sound choices, printable reflections and practical exercises can help you start a conversation or try a manageable next step. Different people find different things helpful. There is no guaranteed result, and skipping a tool is always okay.

What they cannot do

  • Check-ins and energy scales cannot diagnose, assess risk or explain why someone feels a certain way.
  • Hearth does not provide personalised medical advice. Ask a qualified professional about medicines, health concerns or care decisions.
  • Nobody monitors entries or sends an emergency alert. AI suggestions are not a crisis service.
  • A family circle is for voluntary connection, not surveillance. Do not pressure anyone to record or share feelings.

When safety cannot wait

If someone is in immediate danger, call local emergency services. UK: 999. US: 911.

UK: Samaritans 116 123 for someone to talk to. US: call or text 988 for suicide and crisis support. Outside these countries, use your local crisis service.

Take any mention of self-harm seriously. Stay with the person if it is safe, and seek urgent professional help.

Ask for more support

If distress persists, everyday life is becoming difficult, or you are concerned about a child’s mood, sleep, eating or development, speak with a GP or another qualified professional. A school or nursery can help you reach its wellbeing or safeguarding lead. Follow professional advice over anything in this app.

Keep information in the right place

Personal journals stay in this browser. Shared circle entries are visible only to approved members. Daily routines and bundle-tool writing stay on their open page and are not saved. Do not use these tools as a school safeguarding log, an official record or a place to enter sensitive details about other people.
